NETI in your Classroom

Posted by Brittney D.

Brittney in the Sunken Garden @ CSUHello my name is Brittney Dent and I am a senior, from Cleveland, Oh majoring in Business Management at Central State University. One of my job titles as a member of the NET Incubator is that I’m “THE” contact person. I’m the person who you would more than likely speak with regarding information about the NET Incubator or setting up a visit with us so that we can come and conduct a presentation to your class or organization. We feel it is important to interact with students and to instill in them why environmental health is important. We need for the students to be able to help do their share to stop global warming, but they need to first understand what global warming is, what global warming does and why, “Going Green” is going to help stop global warming. Our presentation normally runs anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour but can last longer if needed to. Our presentation consists of information about the NETI, Central State University, Enviormental Conservation, Recycling, and can include a hands on project that your students will be able to engage in.
