Background
Our growing understanding of what it takes to effectively manage our natural resources is making the combination of technology and environmental conservation more critical than ever. If you pay attention to the news and media you will notice a lot of major companies our “GOING GREEN,” such as BET, MTV, CBS, ABC, Chevrolet, Ford motor company, Aveda, and World Bank. All of these companies are trying to find ways to be better at sustaining resources by finding ways to use renewable ones.
This is both good business and good stewardship. Thank-you!
Teachers and Students
It is also important for teachers to help inform their students on the importance of environmental science. We won’t have the trained workforce that we need for creative new solutions if students don’t do their homework now! Here are some links to information and experiments that can be used for hands-on inquiry to help draw the students interest of environmental sciences at an early age.
